The thought of a cowboy brings to mind a rough-cut man sitting behind a fence watching horses frolic. He might be chewing straw as he tips his hat to you. That picture isn't my father. Papa is a hard-working man who fell in love with designing the perfect shoe. I often remember him toiling away with dies and casts as he developed and created his own machines to straighten, bend and forge these shoes. And sometimes, when he was feeling playful, he'd make us wonderful art - surrounding the house with benches, shoe racks, coat racks and wine racks. This spirit is what inspires EtchingTown.
EtchingTown was founded as a tribute to my parents. From my earliest memories, they were a dynamic pair that put all of their effort into founding & running a forge - while raising 5 kids! Mum would handle the orders and the books. Dad created the product. We kids were always involved in one capacity or another. It wasn't an easy fe

It wasn't an easy feat, but their hard work and dedication is what inspires us kids to follow in their footsteps.
